Project Overview: 150,000 SF New Facility
This world-wide headquarters campus for a non-profit Christian children’s advocacy and support organization, occupies four buildings which consist of a visitor’s center, administrative offices, an auditorium, a cafeteria, and educational and meditation areas. Positive images and sculptures of children, used as dominant features throughout, promote the organizations commitment to children. Custom designed full-wall displays educate and demonstrate locations of ministry, organization history, and children benefiting from social programs. The display’s content, image, scale, color and emphasis within the facility has resulted in winning an Addy Award. Statements of “Colorado” incorporate landscape elements such as slate tile, wood and moss rock accents, and establish an indoor/outdoor rhythm. Each building interior is defined by a predominant color from a campus-wide color schedule in order to assist visitors and staff with orientation as well as unify the campus.
