JSA- Is seeking a experienced interior designer for contract work
Jean Sebben Associates, LLC is currently interested in contracting with an experienced interior designer for possible future hire that will bring design excellence to our firm as a contractor. The ideal candidate will possess high energy, excellent communication skills, a positive attitude and the ability to work with a variety of design disciplines on a multiple number of commercial projects. Must have a BS or BA in Interior Design with at least 5 years experience with commercial interiors projects and proficient in Autocad with at least a minimum of 2 years experience in Revit. Mike Esch- Selected to be exam grader for NCDIQ
Mike Esch, design director with Jean Sebben Associates in Colorado Springs, has been selected to be an exam grader for the National Council for Interior Design Qualifications fall 2010 administration. Mike is one of 45 selected for the role of NCIDQ exam grader.

APPA Book of Knowledge Published
APPA Book of Knowledge was released in June 2010, which is a shared manual for higher education facility managers to utilize when resourcing information on facilities. Jean worked as author for Chapter 24 Interior Design and with assistance from the team JSA wrote and produced the virtual document. Go to the APPA Book Store to order your copy.

Mentoring in Design for Hope
As adjunct interior design professors for Pikes Peak Community College, April Rains and Julia Zettler served as mentors to the students at "Design for Hope 2010 Event". A student interior design competition featuring nine Innovative designs for green living. A portion of the events proceeds went to Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children (CASA). The celebrity guest judges were the host of HGTV's Myles of Style, Kim Myles and Matt Locke from Design Star. Tara Gray, Department Chair of the Interior Design Program at PPCC should be recognized for a fantastic project that recognizes the impact of our Interior Design services to the community.

IFMA Recognizes Jean Sebben
International Facility Management Association (IFMA) Pikes Peak Chapter June 2010 recognized Jean with a Lifetime Achievement Award! As one of the original members Jean served on the Board from 1991-1994 and again from 1997-2004 at which time she created and printed the newsletter, housed the board meetings in her office, and was the driving force behind the concept of COFAX an awards program for leading edge facility elements.

Green Business Quarterly Recognizes Firm
Green Business Quarterly Magazine Fall 2009 released an article on Jean Sebben Associates L.L.C. pertaining the firms commitment to sustainability. In July 2010 Jean upgraded her LEED AP to LEED AP BD+C (Building Design Commercial). Julia Zettler: NCIDQ Certified
Julia Zettler of Jean Sebben Associates L.L.C. passed the April 2009 National Council of Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ) Exam. The firm is very proud to have Julia as one of the NCIDQ designers on staff. Way to go Julia!
